Couples Therapy
Juracan Center, LLC uses a unique format for marital therapy, combining Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy with an exciting mindfulness format to generate a successful new paradigm for couples to rely on for improvement within their relationships.  The couple will meet together first, then separate to determine goals and identify expectations for the therapy.  Once expectations are set, the couple will work together to accomplish the goals they set, both as individuals and as a couple.

Group Therapy
Currently, Juracan Center, LLC has group therapy available for substance abuse.  We specialize in opiate recovery from both painkiller addiction as well as heroin addiction recovery.   Our program offers the ability for our clients to qualify to receive Suboxone© from specially trained physicians as an adjunct to their recovery work.  We are a 12-step focused recovery program which combines traditional Cognitive-Behavioral workbook assignments with the power of Psychodynamic Process groups to synthesize change into a new and powerful dynamic.

Treatment is most effective with a motivated client. Sometimes, a client can be effectively motivated by outside influences, but for true and lasting change to occur, it is vital the individual want the change. That does not mean the client has to have all the answers or have a clear idea of what the path to wellness will look like along the journey of change. Just a simple desire to be different, a drive to not repeat past patterns is more than enough to engage in highly rewarding and successful therapy.
Even if you have tried other therapists in the past, it is important to “feel” accepted and understood. Don’t let a negative experience in the past with a different counselor deter you from trying out the empathic style of a seasoned clinician. Take the first step to finding Hope and make the call.
